The ULN2003 contains seven open-collector Darlington pairs, each rated 500mA / 50V with built-in flyback diodes. Inputs are compatible with 5V TTL/CMOS logic.
Stepper motor drivers, relay coils, solenoid valves, LED arrays and incandescent lamps in industrial and appliance designs.
Common emitter and ground pins carry the total load current; add heat sinking for high loads. Input resistors (~2.7k) are internal.
